I started working in startups in 2016, and even during my time at BCG, I worked with many tech scale-ups. One valuable lesson I've learnt in these 8 years is that in the startup industry, sometimes the younger generation might know better. 🚀 The startup scene evolves rapidly and it is important to keep learning from the younger generation—like social media strategy. Abigail Carroll is always on top of her game, delivers fast, makes me laugh with her ideas, and (unfortunately) isn’t shy to call me out for using "2015" slangs. 😑 Throughout my career I recall founders or managers who refused to adapt to these changes, arguing that the old-school methods worked for them in the past.
