The secret to FindSurface's behavioral adaptability (VII) The secret is to keep the area of interest minimal but sufficient. The space is infinite, and the size of point cloud data is large. When we human visually detect, extract, and measure a 3D object, we do not consider the entire environment around us. The secret is how to define such necessary and sufficient coverage. The secret to FindSurface's behavioral adaptability (VI) The secret is in selecting just ONE seed point per object. Hough transform processes every point of a scene. RANSAC selects repeatedly at least two points (2D/3D line) among the input points. Basically, they are not suitable for automatic real-time processing of large point data. For automatic processing of point clouds in real time, the selection of only one seed point per object is mandatory. Good news! GeoCloud Drive now offers a file viewer in the WebApp. With this viewer, you can view files in PDF, TXT, CSV, and image formats directly within the cloud. No need to download the files or use external applications! This makes it much easier to view files on devices that don't have the necessary applications or quickly search for something without downloading the file. #GeoCloudDrive #Surveying

On Day 3, we're diving into server-side development to enhance the user experience by securely storing uploaded PDFs in the cloud ☁️. I'll be exploring options like Cloudinary, S3, and Google Storage. Reflecting on Day 2, I had a unique vision in mind. I wanted to create a feature where dragging a file over the drop area would transform it into an icon based on its file type. However, my research, revealed that achieving this on the web isn't possible, as the operating system determines the file's appearance during drag.
