The UK and India are two economic powerhouses that have yet to unlock their full potential for collaboration. Thankfully, communities like the British Business Group South are bridging that gap, and I'm proud to be a part of their mission over the last decade. Let me share my learnings and contributions from a recent event. In today's globalized economy, fostering cross-border business relationships is paramount. That's why I'm incredibly grateful for my decade-long association with the British Business Group (BBG) South India, which has played a pivotal role in nurturing the Indo-UK business corridor. As a Committee member and having been part of several international delegations, I've had the privilege of promoting trade between these two nations. From hosting events and networking sessions to facilitating business matchmaking, BBG South India has been at the forefront of this endeavor. One of my most recent experiences was attending the UK-India Tech Summit, where I had the opportunity to share insights on the startup ecosystem. What struck me the most was the sheer enthusiasm and commitment from both sides to deepen economic ties. Beyond the summit, my involvement with BBG South India has been a transformative journey. As the head of the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Alumni Chapter in Chennai, I collaborated with other Ivy League alumni groups to host joint events, cultivating a vibrant community of like-minded professionals. It was through this network that I found my mentor, Ravi Kumar, whose guidance and wisdom have been invaluable in helping me envision and scale Social Beat to new heights. The UK-India partnership is more than just a business opportunity; it's a cultural exchange that enriches both nations. By promoting cross-border collaborations, we can unlock a world of possibilities, from cutting-edge innovations to socio-economic progress. #BritishBusinessGroup #India #UK #entrepreneurship Jeeva Rajagopal, Capt (Dr) G.Ramaswamy, Mahesh Ramachandran, Ravi Kumar

Your message is a passionate appeal for support and recognition of innovators in India. To enhance its impact, it might be helpful to organize the points more clearly and focus on the main request. Here's a revised version: --- **Good Morning,** India is a land of rich history and dynamic individuals, such as Sri. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya , Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and Dr Ambatkar who have made significant contributions to various fields. Our country is home to many innovators, some with advanced degrees and patents, while others, despite lacking formal education, possess remarkable ideas. Unfortunately, many of these innovators lack the recognition and support they deserve. They often do not know how to approach the right people or where to seek help. Therefore, I earnestly request that prominent industrialists, entrepreneurs, state chief ministers, central ministers, and the Prime Minister create a professional platform to support these individuals. This platform should not be for publicity but genuinely aimed at: 1. Providing minimum facilities to individual patent holders. 2. Supporting and encouraging innovators. 3. Recognizing their contributions. 4. Helping young and upcoming generations benefit from these innovations. Please consider this request seriously to ensure a brighter future for our nation. Regards, I. V. S. Rao 9490188826 7569160194

Old Memory from 2016, when I was not active on the LinkedIn platform. It was my honor to speak at the International Business Opportunities program organized by the SME Chamber of India. The event witnessed 200 audience majorly from #Maharashtra. The very common question that comes to everyone's mind is what is AWEX and what is the objective of our agency? As the agency word may create lots of confusion sometimes, the best translation is AWEX is Trade and Invest Commission of the Southern Region of Belgium located at the heart of Europe, The Wallonia Export-Investment Agency. Why I am in love with Wallonia is because of it's niche key sectors #Agrifood #Aeronautics and #Space #Enviornmentaltechnologies #Lifesciences #Engineering #Digital and many more... Wallonia is also hub for #Innovation. In 2023 #Belgium was named the 5th most innovative #country in #Europe and of course, #Wallonia plays a major role in this. Will write separately about the key #sectors of Wallonia in my next posts...
