👨🎓Ian Rhodes joined the DB Schenker UK and Ireland Graduate Programme in October 2021. He wanted to explore the various roles within the company to determine where he would be best suited. When asked about his experience, Ian highlights “the programme provided excellent development opportunities and flexibility, allowing me to choose my own direction. I wouldn't have gained insights into so many different elements of the business otherwise. For example, I've had the opportunity to engage with nearly every product, from operations to sales, giving me understanding into how the units interact with each other." Reflecting on his experience, Ian says ‘’I found great enjoyment in the scheme's dynamic environment, featuring a fast-paced working atmosphere and a wide array of roles. Due to the rotational nature of the programme the constant movement to new placements ensured that I was consistently learning and being challenged." Ian found his ideal role and is now successfully employed in a permanent position at DB Schenker as a Project Analyst for one of our major clients.
