What Do You Create? We are all creators of something. We create ideas, and plans, points of view, and relationships. In all reality we create our own versions of ourselves. Others may have influence in that creation, but only you can create yourself. It happens based on your mindset, your experiences, and your background. It comes from your roots. It is further formed by the way that we see and process the information that we collect from the world around us and the interactions that we have. We are continually changing and modifying our creations. What we created at 6 years old looks very different from what we create in our 20's, 40's, and 60's. Our creations become more complex as our life experiences and educations become more complex. Our view of the world and our place in it change over time, and so do our creations. Like our homes, the backyard, your career, and even your family. Things change, the chapters and phases of your life are intertwined with creations and laced with experiences that continually modify what you create. Often times what you create in one arena of your life will alter the creations in other parts of your life, as they are all intermingled and homogenized with the everything else emotionally. Although some may be able to have compartmentalized thinking, or emotional selves are not afforded that luxury, those are all in our soul together sharing space. When we have a passion to create in one area it generally spills over to another and then more creation happens. So, what are you creating right now? Are you working on your legacy, or your personal and professional successes? Perhaps it is an involvement in a community group, an interpersonal relationship. Maybe it is your education or your technical skillset, or your understanding of a subject that interests you personally. Does what you create come from the heart or from your soul? Do you bake, or write, or sing, or paint? You are creating something, either for yourself or others that comes wholly from you, it's creator. Whatever it is that you are creating, feed that spirit the nutrition that is needs to keep growing! Creation of something is instinctual to the human spirit and the world needs to see what you can create! Now get out there and make something!! Again, the more you know.

Creative: This is the real reason you feel anxious all the time. Because creative energy without any kind of mastery = perpetual anxiety. As artists, designers and creatives we are actually hard wired for anxiety, just because of the way we are. We have to be future-thinking in order to visualise what doesn’t yet exist, and then bring it into existence in the form of our expression. In short, you feel anxious because you feel like you have no control: Over whether or not that idea will turn out as amazing as it is in your head. Over when the next idea will come, or if it’ll even be good. Over whether or not the next client, sale or raving fan is even out there. Over whether or not you be a success or a failure. And let’s be real, you often feel like you have no idea if you’ll actually be able to sustain a comfortable life through your art. …or, for the love of the art, you sacrifice the rest of life because you believe it has to be either or. In order to stay self-assured enough as a creative, in order to live life in harmony with the art you make, you have to exercise the ability to surrender the outcome. To release the emotional attachment to things going to plan or not (or turning out even better than you could ever imagine 😉) Create for the sake of creating. Create because you can’t not. It feels like you have less control that way, but it’ll actually make you and your work more authentic… not to mention 100x more magnetic to the life you actually desire. Keep going. #founders #creatives

💡🤔 LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! ✨ 🎥 Lights, camera, action - three words that propel us into the world of dreams and possibilities. In this fast-paced era of social media and technology, we often find ourselves caught up in the whirlwind of living our lives through a digital display. But amidst all the glitz and glamour, have we stopped to take a moment and ask ourselves - are we truly living or just playing a role? 🌟 Sometimes life can feel like a movie set, where we are merely actors performing predefined scripts. Society has set certain expectations and norms for us to follow, dictating what success looks like and how we should behave. But I believe that true success and fulfillment come from daring to deviate from the conventional narrative and embracing our authentic selves. ✨ It's time to take off the masks and step into the spotlight of our own lives. Let's break free from the chains of societal expectations and embrace the duality of our personalities. Here are a few thoughts to consider: 🎭 Be the Director of Your Life: Like a movie director, take charge of your life's direction and choose the narrative that resonates with your true self. Don't be a passive spectator in your own story. 🌟 Rewrite the Script: Break free from the limitations imposed by others and rewrite your own script. Embrace your uniqueness and let your story shine on its own terms. ✨ Embrace Imperfections: In the era of Photoshop and filters, it's easy to get lost in the pursuit of perfection. But true beauty lies in imperfection. Embrace your flaws, they make you human and relatable. 🎥 Surround Yourself with the Right Cast: Like in a movie, surround yourself with a supportive and inspiring cast. Your network plays a vital role in shaping your journey, so choose wisely. 🌟 Embrace Unpredictable Plot Twists: Life seldom follows a linear path, and that's where the magic lies. Embrace the unexpected turns, pivot when necessary, and let your story unfold organically. ✨ Celebrate the Climaxes and Lows: Just like in the movies, life has its ups and downs. Celebrate the moments of triumph and embrace the lessons learned during the lows. They shape your character and add depth to your story. 🎭 Lights, camera, action! It's time to step into the leading role of your life and script your own narrative. Don't be afraid to take risks, express your authenticity, and create a story that resonates with your heart and soul. Together, let's make our lives not just a showreel, but a masterpiece worth remembering. 🎬 #LifeInTheSpotlight #AuthenticityMatters #BreakFree

✨ From Consumer to Creator: A Client's Journey to Embrace Creative Potential ✨ Yesterday I guided an incredible client who is making a profound shift from being a consumer to a creator. My client shared something along these lines, “I’ve felt a strong internal resistance, a tug-of-war between the need to create and the habit of consuming. My body craves movement, writing, painting, and expressing creatively. Yet, I find myself stuck in consuming, which clouds my clarity and intuition.” 🌟 He expressed, “Creating opens up new pathways. It brings appreciation for the present, clarity about my direction, and a stronger connection to my intuition.” His journey is about more than just creating; it’s about self-trust and self-expression. Here are some pivotal insights from his experience: ✨ Starting the day right: “I start my day with activities I appreciate.” ✨ Rest: “Rest is essential for creativity and intuition.” ✨ Self-Appreciation: “I want to appreciate where I am in life.” ✨ Letting go of perfection: “I’m learning it’s okay to make mistakes and be seen.” ✨ Embracing responsibility: “Responsibility is freedom.” He beautifully summed it up by saying, “I have a choice. I choose to create, to express, and to live authentically. I’m here to create and inspire.” 🌟 His journey reminds us all that we can find beauty in the journey, take risks, and be seen. 'Life is both long and short; let's make it count' - this one comes from his inner wisdom. Ps. To get to all these beautiful insights, and shift his body and mind to embrace being a creator we did 2 things. I guided him to connect to his intuitive wisdom and receive guidance with precision, including for his business direction. And I also had him do a dialogue between two parts of himself, 'the avoidant' and 'the one who appreciates'. We really got to the body and emotional level to break through a ceiling, and he came out on the other side embodied in his creator, with less resistance and with more clarity on where he's at, immediate choices he can make, and learning how to trust his choices and how to distinguish intuition from mind. If you want to experience such a level of connection to your intuitive wisdom, and beak through ceilings within, so life can mirror you with more of what you desire, message me now 'break-through'. I know it's really difficult showing up every time you should, as a creator. It could be tiring and even, cumbersome at times. And yes, there are a thousand reasons for that. Imposter syndrome. Low energy. Overwhelming competition. Lack of clarity. Burnouts. Every one single contributing factor. But, there's so much beauty in your art. Don't stop creating. It's very okay to experience these things that I've listed above. What is not okay in any form is refusing to rise above them. Know when to retreat, rest and drink water. To every single creator reading this: Don't stop creating. Your art is beautiful. Even if you've not totally gained mastery, keep creating, you're just very close to your big breakthrough. Everything will fall in place. You will get the attention that you deserve. Just keep working your way through growth. Don't forget it. #favourschronicles

I built my own 75 Hard, but for Creativity. Over the last few months I've been thinking deeply about what I need to cultivate in my life to have more success. I've been led on and let down by others, and need to take ownership for my results. One major thing that I believe has subtly crept in to my life is a rise in being a passive consumer. This, coupled with some depression has made it very difficult for me to Create or Do things outside of work. The dopamine I got from just sitting and consuming content was overpowering healthy activities that involved interacting with the real work. Enter CreatEighty. An 80 day creativity challenge that my brother and I designed to help us make the shift from passive consumer to active producer. Every day we do 4 things: 1) read one Psalm (brings a positive focus) 2) 15 minutes for a quick sketch or poem 3) 30 minutes of creative, building, or fixing activity with some real world tie-in 4) progress photo The 30 minute activity can be anything from playing the guitar, doing some art, painting a room, working on a car, or doing some gardening. It cannot be a regular chore activity. If you are looking to build more consistency in your life, and feel the need to shift from Consumer to Creator as well - please start your own CreatEighty and follow along. P.S. Also acquired CreatEighty.com to document my process and encourage others. That is coming soon.
