Lesson should be learned, hire to eligible candidates only on any suitable cost. Because hiring a low scale candidate although you know he is not a fit candidate for your job , can lead to high severity issues for you.😂

Stop hiring politicians and start hiring producers! Are you struggling to hire difference-makers in sales and recruiting? Stop asking them to get along with everybody. I'm not saying hire a jerk. I'm saying if your hiring process is that they interview with 24 people, and all of them HAVE to give a thumbs up. You're not going to hire top producers. You're going to hire politicians. People who know what to say to get the job. To make people like them. More than they know how to actually close business. Want to hire top producers? Have them interview with three people. Their direct report manager. The manager of another team that they'd interact with most. One of your top three producers on the team they'll be on. If all three leave the interview saying, this person can SELL/RECRUIT. They're going to make a financial impact on the organization. And, I'd like to work with them (this is different than I LIKE them). Enthusiastically. HIRE THEM! NOTE: They don't have to like EVERYTHING about them, some of the best producers I worked with weren't always the easiest to get along with in every aspect. #RaiseTheRoose

HIGH VOLUME HIRING? WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START! Here's the reality. A lot of recruiters make this mistake - I certainly have over the years and probably will again because I'm human. Sometimes we get a hot opening (or several) and jump right in to search mode. We take the job description, start running boolean strings in various places, sending our hiring managers "calibration profiles", and just skip a bunch of steps needed to do this recruiting thing EFFECTIVELY. "But it's a PRIORITY!" we cry. "My hiring manager needs someone YESTERDAY!" I know. I get it. And it's amplified in high volume.
