The theme of our CBS Networking Event will be centred around "The Role and Impact of Micro-Businesses to the UK Economy." Micro-businesses are collectively speaking - making a significant contribution to the UK economy and to society as a whole.Micro-businesses are companies of up to ten people are not only an important component of the economy but play a major role in the process of “leveling up” disadvantaged regions of the UK. These category of companies collectively and individually, benefit their communities. They employ local people, shop in local shops and tend to look close to home for suppliers. However, not enough is being done to support these Micro-businesses. That support should span from financial, as well assistance in marketing, leveraging latest social media technologies as well as technical expertise. Our Key Note Speakers, Rashesh Joshi, the co-founder & Managing Director of Alexander Rosse and Shukeel A Chohan, who is a Motivational and Public Speaker, Trainer, Coach as well as a Sales and Business Strategist will be covering the role of Micro Businesses to UK economy. In particular Rashesh will be covering how Micro Businesses can leverage growth through the vast financial and funding packages that are available in the financial markets. Shukeel on the other hand will be covering how small business owners can motivate themselves in a challenging and uncertain economic climate.
CBS have organised another event on 5th March from 7pm. hopefully would love to see everyone there,As we are looking for approximately 90 guests at a Edgbaston Golf club. Also sponsorship packages available to businesses who would like to use CBS platform to reach out to other businesses. CBS are working very hard this year to promote all different organisations. Focusing on UK and international private wealth and tax law, I am a Legal Director - Professional Support Lawyer at Howard Kennedy LLP.
For anyone working in, or just interested in, Art Law, I would agree with Alex Watt about the value of joining the Art Lawyers Association. As a new member, I spent a fascinating day at the ALA's inaugural conference yesterday, hearing from experts in the field, including Alex and Jon Sharples, discussing topics ranging from protecting the intellectual property of artists, through the intricacies of ensuring the authenticity and provenance of art works, and the likely impact of AI and other digital developments on these issues and on the art world more generally. The increasing impact of regulation on the art market was discussed, and with Mark Stephens CBE and Alex Herman (author of "The Parthenon Marbles Dispute: Heritage, Law, Politics"), among others, in attendance, the issues of cultural heritage and restitution, and the hot topic of the Parthenon Marbles specifically, were never far from the centre of debate. These were only a few of the topics considered during a far-reaching and fascinating conference - thank you to all the panellists and moderators. I look forward to the ALA's next event! #art #artlaw #conference2023 #artists #intellectualproperty #provenance #restitution #AI #digitalart #streetart

Thank you to Fountain Court Chambers for their generous sponsorship of the event and to Wedlake Bell for hosting us!

Shukeel will be sharing how the two most critical skills in business, the ability to speak, negotiate, and influence, and the ability to sell effectively can be the difference between thriving and surviving.

The conversation is different when the team selling an Exhibitor Spot, or Sponsorship understands and has experience with navigating the process of getting a patient on therapy and making sure they remain on it. On average, it has taken 5-10 touchpoints and discovery sessions with each exhibitor to make sure it's a good fit for you and the event. Let's talk and make sure you leave with the ROI and ROR (Return on Relationships) needed. #MarketAccess #PatientServices #Advocacy #Specialty #Foundations #TechSolutions #Education
