Shanu Markand, PhD, assistant professor, A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) Anatomy department, has been awarded the A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), recently received recognition as a co-author of a manuscript that received the 2023 Outstanding Manuscript Award, as determined by the editorial board and editors of the Athletic Training Education Journal. The S.M.I.L.E. (Student Mentoring with Immersive Learning and Enrichment) Healthcare Pathway Program, a partnership between Henry Schein, Inc. and the National Dental Association, has announced A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) and ATSU-Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) as 2024 supporting community partners. The S.M.I.L.E. program provides 9th- and 10th-grade students an introduction to oral health professions.
