We find ourselves over halfway to the 2030 deadline, and it's disheartening to see how far off track the world is in reaching the Global Goals. Each year, the United Nations General Assembly gives us a glimpse of hope as policymakers share their ambitious visions and make passionate pledges. However, as the deadline creeps closer, talk alone will not transform the 2030 Agenda into a lived reality. We recognize that each one of us possesses the power to make a difference, but it is crucial that we translate our inspiring conversations into concrete action. In New York, Goals House served as a platform for forging partnerships that inspire collaboration and lead to innovative solutions for the Global Goals. At Goals House, we understand that talk is just the starting point. The true impact arises when unlikely coalitions unite, breaking boundaries and blending expertise to unleash our collective potential. Here’s a glimpse at Goals House UNGA, where our community helped transform inspiring words into impactful change towards achieving the Global Goals. #Goal17 #Partnerships

Public-private collaboration is key to achieving more equitable cities -- which is why the Centre for Urban Transformation is working with Eime Tobari at Avison Young on this social impact framework.
Embedding #socialvalue within #urbanregeneration projects is key to building more equitable communities. But how to get there? The public and private sectors often have different perspectives, drivers and measurements for social value. Developed by Eime Tobari, Director of Social Impact at Avison Young, this eight-point "impact framework" can help align stakeholders and better understand trade-offs. https://lnkd.in/ee8u2f9w

As the year ends, we take a moment to reflect and acknowledge the impact we've made. Over the last five years, we have proven that investments in Indigenous Peoples foster a world that is built on a foundation of justice and equity for all people and Mother Earth. ✊🏽🌎 As part of the culmination of these initial years, we have produced our very first Impact Report, which provides an in-depth overview of the programming that has come through the entirety of our ecosystem. 📑 We also hope that 'Building Indigenous Power: A Retrospective of NDN Collective’s First Five Years', can be a resource for our wider networks. The report offers a behind-the-scenes look at who we are liberating resources from, and how we approach the work of Indigenous wealth building that is being done on a scale never seen before. 🪶 We encourage you to learn more about our Indigenous-led organization and reflect on the impact we made. 📖 Download and read our first Impact Report: ndnco.cc/impactreport 👈🏽 #ImpactReport #DefendDevelopDecolonize #NDNCollective

Anthropologist of an Ecosocial Transition (Sustainability & Wellbeing). Transdisciplinary Researcher. Essayist. Creating Meaningful Synergies.
#Purpose, #Priorities, and #Pathways (PPP) The doughnut is a kind of compass (Purpose) of this outer journey in which the human expedition needs to prepare itself (Priorities) to travel towards an uncertain future with different paths (Pathways) I will be one of the explorers on that expedition starting in mid-January 2024. As one of my slogans says "The explorer is not the expedition", it will be a journey in which we will all learn to navigate in this poly-crisis (meta-crisis) and find possible ways for the expedition to continue walking.
