#TheDayWithTrae - Meet Ariel Bradler, an accomplished arts administrator and advocate for theater and the performing arts. Ariel's philosophy is that the Arts is an integral part of a healthy society. She has been fostering this philosophy in her time in service to the theater communities in both Denver and Seattle. Ariel is currently the Director of Education & Engagement for The 5th Avenue Theatre. Ariel stopped by The Day With Trae with TraeAnna Holiday to discuss the Rising Star Project, a youth mentorship program offered by The 5th Avenue Theatre. This tuition-free program has been running since 2011 and allows students aged 14-19 throughout Washington State to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of musical theater production. Ariel, it was great to meet you at the gala last night and I so appreciate what you do! My daughter has loved musical theater since she was exposed to Broadway Bound as a kindergartener. Arts education is so vital! Thank you!!

The STAGE Act would create a new grant program through the Economic Development Administration providing $1 billion annually for non-profit theaters over five years (for a total investment of $5 billion in non-profit theaters).
