A business analyst would say a company that does not invest in itself is dying. These actions would only leave us the constituents to believe, that this is deliberate neglect of health care in Fort McMurray. By these actions we can only assume ( I say assume because as you can see in this video there is no clear and direct communication which leads us only to assumptions) that our current Government is complicent and content in the degradation of Fort McMurray, therefore the emulsion of the liberal/ndp idea of destroying Fort McMurray has united with conservatives what other logical conclusions can we come to, considering these actions we should just call it what it is the Uniparty.
As a former paramedic firefighter, I am passionate about ensuring Albertans receive the healthcare they need, when they need it. Yesterday, during Oral Question Period, I asked Hon. Adriana Lagrange, the Minister of Health, to explain what our government is doing to address the family doctor shortage and reinstate Fort McMurray's family medicine residency program. #RMWB #YMM #ableg Government of Alberta United Conservative Caucus Danielle Smith Adriana LaGrange Brian Jean

Another fantastic deal complete off HWY 119 in Birmingham, AL. Love seeing #healthcare providers expanding their private practices across multiple markets! Special thanks to Megan Delfin for your help on this transaction - You and Your team were fantastic! Huntington National Bank 💫VISION PLANNING💫 One area where our team is a little different than a traditional brokerage is our knowledge of the #Healthcare space. We help clinicians think through their 5, 10, 20-year game plan; and even through an exit strategy on their practice’s real estate. 💡One of the worst things that can happen when expanding - happened to a clinician here in Central Alabama. The broker had “experience” with clinicians, but did not understand the business. The Doc built $2,000,000 facility + FFE. What the broker did not understand was the need for this speciality user in this market. As a result, the Doc has a 4-5 month wait time for new patients which will lead to patient attrition. Just as every patients treatment plan is unique, every client’s case is one of one. We take a broad knowledge base of information and curate what is important to that particular scenario. Similar to an offensive coordinator with a play-sheet - we have multiple sets, formations, and plays we call during certain times of your career and your practice position. As there are specialists within Healthcare, there are specialists within the real estate space. To ensure you are positioning yourself for success with your practice’s real estate, email our team at info@lightpointcre.com Lightpoint Real Estate Partners #YourLegacyAwaits
🎉Congratulations Dr. Prabha Prattipati on starting your second location off 119! 🪥Dr. Prabha's primary office is in Childersburg, AL. When we were first engaged, she envisioned expanding her suite of services to the Over the Mountain communities. She was able to identify a 2nd generation space that a dentist had recently vacated. Because this space was a prime time location, and already plumbed for a dental user, we knew we needed to mote quick! We were able to move from contract to close within 52 davs 🤯!! Additionally, we were able to keep this building from being taken to market! 💫We could not be more excited for Dr. Prabha and her team! We cannot wait to watch her replicate her success in Birmingham! 🏦 Special thanks to Megan Delfin and her team at Huntington for being efficient with getting this deal to the finish line, and accomplishing the terms Dr. P. desired! If you want to learn more about how to OWN your #Healthcare practice's real estate - email us at info@lightpointcre.com 📍Prime Smile Dental Care 119 Prabhavathi Jampani Kyle Church Lightpoint Real Estate Partners #YourLegacyAwaits Megan Delfin Huntington National Bank #dentist #2ndlocation #healthcarerealestate #owneroccupied

REFLECTING ON THE OVERWHELMING response to the launch of the Journal of Nursing Science and Professional Practice (JNSPP), Journal of Nursing Science and Professional Practice (lww.com), I'm left pondering: What are we missing? The flood of engagement from diverse corners of the globe underscores the untapped potential in nursing and healthcare. Could there be a treasure trove of unpublished, game-changing research waiting to be unlocked? “WHAT HAVE WE GONE AND DONE?” a member of the team asked me in the days following the launch. While the team and I anticipated the launch would garner excitement and support and curiosity, I must confess that personally, I was caught a bit off-guard. In general, I know nursing to be a collaborative and supportive profession. But, where did all of these researchers and academics and practitioners and healthcare workers come from? THE REPORTED BARRIERS FACED BY new researchers, and those outside North America and Europe, raise important questions about inclusivity in scientific publishing. Are we truly harnessing diverse perspectives and knowledge sources to advance universal healthcare? Could a journal showcasing the best of nursing from around the world make a tangible difference? ADMITTEDLY, I AM A NOVICE editor. I am neither academician nor researcher. I am not familiar with all of the issues and I certainly do not have all the answers. Yet, the global collaboration witnessed during the Covid crisis reminds me of our collective strength. By embracing diverse voices and experiences, we can surely move closer to achieving universal healthcare. Let's use the JNSPP to continue to engage all talents in this crucial endeavour. What are your thoughts?

#WorldTraumaSymposium continues this afternoon with Paul Barendregt discussing #trauma in the Alaskan wilderness. Here are some of the best practices and tips he offers! -The Alaska prehospital & Trauma care system covers land equivalent of the territory encompassing Wisconsin down to Texas. They have 2 level II trauma centers and a few level III centers. -Every 911 call outside of the cities is a prolonged care environment. A 500 mile transport is common. -The simplest interventions and strategies are often the most effective. The fanciest tools are most likely to fail! Keep things simple! -It is ok to keep patients in a “little bit of pain” it keeps you from overmedicating patients when you are with them for extended transports! (Think 1-2 out of 10) -Maximize your use of good Samaritans during austere rescues. They want to help and it is a good use of resources to improve efficiency -Never be afraid to adapt, improvise, and overcome! If you know what needs to be done…do it with the resources you have. Don’t just complain about what you wish you had! -scene and operational safety is fluid and can change at any time and don’t stop reassessing it until at the hospital with your patient. -Knowledge is your most important tool National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians #EMSWorldExpo2023 #paramedic #wildernessmedicine Wilderness Medical Associates International
