Research the subject of your article

- By their very nature, articles are non-fiction otherwise they'd be called short stories. This means the content can't spring entirely from your imagination. Sure you can and should be creative in the way you approach the subject and with your language. And much of the content for articles like reviews, commentaries and how-to's off course, will come from your own opinions or knowledge, things that are in your head. But even so, your content must be rooted in facts in order to make your article credible to readers. And seeking out and referencing external sources in your article will give integrity to your argument or instructions. So, where do you get these facts? What are these external sources? There are really three main places the article content spring from. First, your own observation. Things that you see with your own eyes, hear with your own ears and otherwise experience first-hand are obviously trustworthy.…
