- Now you've got all the components that will go into your article. You've got your research, an interview or two, your own observations or arguments or knowledge. This is about when newer writers tend to panic. How do I gather all these pieces up and shape them into a coherent read? Fear not. I'm going to tell you what to do, but first, I'm going to tell you what not to do. Don't start writing yet. The way you turn all of your terrific content into a lucid, reader-friendly article is by first taking a little time to organize it into a logical framework that I promise will make the writing part easier for you. Now, certain types of articles have a prescribed structure built in. A how-to article, for example, really has to be written in chronological order. You do this, and then you do that, and so on.
