- [Instructor] Doesn't matter if you're new to Fantasy Football or if you've been around for years, picking players can feel overwhelming 32 NFL teams each with one quarterback and at least one backup, at least three running backs per team, about five wide receivers, two tight ends, one kicker per NFL team, one defense per NFL team. That's at least 448 players to choose from. Do you know the strengths and weaknesses of all 448 players? Unless you're an NFL scout, I hope not. But, the good thing is, you don't need to know that much. If you're in a 10 team league, each team will probably take two quarterbacks, three running backs, four wide receivers, two tight ends, two defenses, one kicker. Multiply by our 10 teams, this means you only need to know the top 20 quarterbacks, top 30 running backs, 40 wide receivers, 20 tight ends, 20 defenses, and 10 kickers.
