- [Instructor] You've got a project. That project is to develop an application that runs at AWS. The solution, the AWS Well-Architected Framework. The other solution could be, help! But the real solution, is using the framework. Let's explain. There are six pillars that make up the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and these pillars work together to ensure that you follow best practices, so your application actually functions the best it can running at AWS. First up, the security pillar ensures that you look at how do I deploy and maintain security at all layers of my application stack. Once it's secure, I want it to be reliable. After all, apps have to always be available. Once it's reliable and it's secure, well, now I want to tune it. Is it as efficient as it can be? Are my compute, or container environments set up properly, efficiently, and I don't want to overpay for anything, and there's a lot of different costs…
