- All small talk conversations eventually come to an end, maybe because a meeting is starting, maybe because it's the end of the day, maybe because one or both participants need to leave, or maybe simply because you've run out of things to talk about. The challenge is that sometimes one person wants to keep talking and the other just wants the conversation to end, or even worse, both people are ready for the conversation to be over but neither is sure how to wrap it up.
