- [Instructor] When rendering with V-Ray Next in SketchUp there is a pretty good chance that we will at some point need to create artificial or man-made light sources in our scenes as opposed to using just the default daylight simulation that is. To help with this V-Ray actually provides seven different light types that can be used to cover pretty much any artificial lighting scenario that we may run into. Creating any of these is as noted earlier in the course a pretty straightforward process that we will see in action over the next few videos. To keep things focused here we are again working with an artificially darkened scene. Although it does also need to be noted that any illumination we see in our test renders will in part, be coming from the exposure settings that are at work on the physical camera which have been modified so as to give us reasonable illumination levels from the get-go.
