Hiding your list or library from search
- [Instructor] For sensitive or confidential documents, you might want to hide the contents of a library from the search function in SharePoint. To hide your documents from search, click the Settings menu and then select Library settings. In the General settings group, select Advanced settings. Scroll down to view the search section. To hide the documents from search, select the No radio button, and then scroll down and click OK to save your changes. Now, when users search within SharePoint, they will no longer see the documents in this library in the results. in the results.
