- [Narrator] Offline capabilities allow people to download files from their library and work with them on their local computers. To work offline, you must sync your SharePoint library To work offline, you must sync your SharePoint library, and a copy is created on your device. For security reasons, you may want to disable this feature. First click the settings menu and then select library settings. In the general settings group, select advanced settings. In the offline client availability section, select the no radio button and then click OK to save your changes. Let's return to the library. Notice that the sync option has been removed from the library ribbon. Your users will no longer be able to download the documents and work with them offline.
