- [Instructor] Our world and our work are full of information that needs to be protected. Organizations often have procedures and systems in place to secure data that they hold on their servers. But as individuals, we also need to ensure the safety of sensitive information in our own lives. Whether we're working from home, working remotely, or securing our personal files, there are steps we can take and tools we can use to keep sensitive information from falling into the wrong hands. In this course, we'll explore what information we, or someone else, can learn from unsecured files, and we'll see how to use encryption to protect files and disks. We'll also explore secure practices, which allow us to exchange sensitive information more safely.
