Let's review a short list of equipment and software that you will need for your podcast and then show you how to use it in the next few videos. In order to record your voice, you will need a microphone. In most cases, the Audio-Technica ATR2100x is the microphone that you should purchase. Here are the reasons why. It is a dynamic microphone. In layman's terms, this means the type of microphone allows you to record in most locations without the quality of the room being a large factor in the recording. It also enhances the warmth in your voice due to something called the proximity effect. As you get closer, the low frequencies in your voice are amplified.
