Creating a budget
- [Instructor] Budgets enable you to control costs. You can configure alerts based on your actual or forecasted cost to ensure that your spending is within your organizational spending limit. When configured budget thresholds are exceeded, notifications are triggered notifying you of the overspending. None of your resources are affected, and your consumption isn't stopped. You can use budgets to compare and track spending as you analyze costs. I've logged into the portal, and we're on the home screen. Let's use the search bar and search for cost. Let's open the cost management service. First let's configure the scope to use the subscription. Let's click on route management group followed by streaming clouds, development and the development subscription. Let's click on select. Now that we've configured the scope, let's open the budget's pane here on the left. Let's click on add to add our budget. Here we have the…
