- [Tutor] There's several options to create a Microsoft Team from an existing resource. You can upgrade a SharePoint team site, or a Microsoft 365 group to a team directly. You can also convert a distribution list to a 365 group, and then you can convert it to a Microsoft team. I'm in the Microsoft 365 admin center. And what I want to do is I want to take a Microsoft 365 group and convert it into a team. So under teams and groups, I'm going to choose active teams and groups. All of these different groups that you see here are also a team with one exception. And that is the shared group projects, Microsoft 365 group. Up until 2020, this was referred to as an Office 365 group, but now it's been renamed. If I click on the shared group projects, we can see on the right hand side, the name, the primary email address, if there's any aliases, when it was created and others.
