Manage caller ID policies
- [Instructor] Caller ID policies in Microsoft Teams can help you change or block a caller. It's set up by default so that when a team's user calls a public switch telephone network phone, their phone number is going to be visible. Also the phone number of the public switch telephone number callers can be seen when they call a team's user. Caller ID policies are managed in the Microsoft Teams admin center in the voice section under caller ID policies. You can choose the default global policy or create custom policies and assign it to the user. I'm in the Microsoft Teams admin center, and I've expanded voice. And now I'm going to click on caller ID policies. Let's take a look at the global policy. We can see that block incoming caller ID is off, override the caller ID policy is also off, and replace the caller ID with user's number, service number, or anonymous.
