- [Instructor] The Direct Routing Health Dashboard can help you monitor the connection between your Session Border Controller, SBC, and the Direct Routing interface. A voice session border controller is a device regularly deployed in VoIP networks, and we use that to control the signaling and also the media streams involved in setting up and tearing down telephone calls. The dashboard can provide information on potential issues, such as reasons why you get dropped calls, as well as the status of the connected SBCs, and that includes detailed information on the SBCs and their overall health. The information regarding overall health of the connected SBCs includes a direct routing summary and network effectiveness, which compares the number of calls sent versus the number of calls delivered to a recipient.
