Apply a vignette to your photos

- Traditionally a vignette is a dark border around the edge of a photo. It can be an intentional effect to highlight certain aspects of the image or the result of using the wrong settings, equipment or lens when taking a photo. In Lightroom, you can add a vignette to highlight your main subject. Dragging the vignette slider to the left creates a black vignette, while dragging to the right creates a white vignette. To take better control of how the vignette is applied, click on this light gray icon to expand the vignette options. Feather allows you to set the blurriness of the edge of the vignette. The midpoint determines how far the vignette edges get to the center of your photo. Roundness controls how round the vignette is, and the highlight slider controls how much, if at all, the highlights of the image will pop through the dark vignette. Fine tune these sliders so you get the perfect vignette for your image.
