- [Instructor] The Cisco iOS has built-in help for all of the commands. The help function can be accessed by simply typing a question mark at the prompt. This will display a list of commands available at that command line mode. Let me demonstrate this now. I'm going to go ahead and click on the switch, expand the window. I'm going to hit Enter on the keyboard. That brings me into the user mode. If I hit Shift and question mark, it displays all of the commands available at the user exec mode. You can see one of those commands is enable. I'm going to go ahead and type enable now, ENABLE. That takes us into the privileged exec mode. If I hit Shift and question mark, that brings up all of the commands that are available in the privileged mode. If I hit Enter, that takes us down one line at a time.
