Using technology in meetings

- Meetings and technology go hand in hand, yet, far too many meetings are stalled or drag along because of problems with tech tools. The good news is using a simple checklist before each meeting can help you avoid common pitfalls. To make your meetings more productive, I've provided a simple technology checklist in the exercise files. This covers the most common situations, and tech tools, and helps you double check everything is in place before beginning a meeting. There are three general areas the checklist covers. First, general tech issues that apply to all meetings including phone conferences. Second, a checklist for in-person presentations, such as in a conference room. And third, a checklist for all virtual or online meetings. I recommend reviewing each of these checklists, remove anything that isn't relevant to your needs, and add additional reminders to make the checklist a better match for your meetings. Then…
