Sending out your resume and receiving rejection after rejection is just one doorway towards success. Let me show you the different pathways to landing your next business intelligence role. The first way and the standard way of landing a business intelligence role is applying directly to job postings online. It's what I consider the front door, and it's by far the most common way of getting this kind of a job. I've talked to many hiring managers and it's not uncommon for them to receive over 1,000 applications for one single job posting. This means you need to have your resume tailored to match the job posting as closely as possible.
