- [Instructor] There are lots of different certifications or qualifications you can gain professionally. One certification option or path is choosing to study and set vendor certifications. Vendor certifications are certifications that companies make that show that the holder knows how to use their product or understands the concept of their technology. Many vendors have certifications. Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, VMware, Cisco, Oracle, Linux and Veeam are just some. If you are familiar with certain products it's advantageous to see if there is a certification that will help prove your knowledge and maybe even enhance it.
