- I know I'm preaching to the choir when I tell you that HR communications is a strategic asset. Studies after studies show this. But if you need to convince the higher-ups in your organizations, cite these two reports. Gallup's State of the Global Workplace report cited that only 15% of employees are engaged in the workplace. You heard me right, 15%. That becomes more shocking when you look at a FastTrack360 study that cited more than 70% of executives who stated that employee engagement is critical to their company's success. That's a huge disconnect. But what makes HR communications that much more needed in the era of the Great Reshuffle is the fact that even good companies with high employee workplace satisfaction scores are now seeing staff voluntarily leave their job for other opportunities.
