- Even the most seasoned experts get a little bit nervous before an interview, especially if it's on camera. This is important to know because from the outside looking in, it can sometimes look like everyone has everything figured out. Believe me, they don't. I've media-trained CEOs at large companies and journalists at the New York Times and other major outlets, and they get nervous just like you do.
