Yes, producers and editors have their favorite experts that they call on again and again. But they're also on the hunt for new, fresh talent. Here are three ways the media finds its experts. One, research. Journalists are always reading or watching something. Ideas pop up almost anywhere and then the good producers will hunt down the best possible experts for those stories.
