- [Instructor] Now let's look at some advanced ways of working with time. Now, time can be a deep, deep rabbit hole in Excel and a lot of it involves formatting. And in fact, I have a formatting course that you can check out that does go deeper into times as do a lot of other courses on the LinkedIn Learning Library. So, we're going to do a few things in this video. In column B, I have a list of arrival times that I want to round to the nearest 15 minutes. Now I'm going to go into cell C3. So to get this rounded to the nearest 15 minutes we're going to M round equals M round. Double click. What is the number we want to round? It is right here. Coma, the multiple N double quotes, zero, colon, 15 double quote. Close parenthesis. Enter. 10:17 has been rounded to 10:15. Yep, that is the nearest 15-minute mark.
