- [Instructor] Being able to make fake data, random data, dummy data as sometimes was called, is really helpful. Sometimes, you want to play with a new function or Excel feature. Sometimes, you need data to show somebody how to use a feature. I build a lot of fake data in order to make tutorials. RANDARRAY is very helpful. So let's see, we've got this data, right? And let's say I want to show somebody how to filter our split columns, but I need some fake data to start with. Now I want to go into D4, equals RANDARRAY. Double click it. How many rows of fake data do I need? Well, I'm going to use COUNTA to figure that out for me. Open parentheses. This is how many rows of data I need. Close parentheses, comma, I just want one column of data. Minimum, let's say the smallest city would be 700 comma the max, let's say 103,000, comma, and I do want an integer so I'm going to put one for true, close parentheses and Enter. Now…
