- For me, human connections and community are what makes life meaningful, and it's very upsetting to see anyone mistreated or left out, so I always speak up if I see an injustice. I prefer and truly thrive in diverse environments. I consider myself an ally, and I hope you are one too. Do you know what it means to be an ally in the workplace? Have you heard of the term microaggression? And did you know diversity, equity, and inclusion, employee wellbeing, and productivity are inextricably linked? In this lesson, I'm going to flesh out these concepts to give you a better understanding of a topic that's an essential component to creating and sustaining a sustainable business. I'm going to start by addressing the elephant in the room.
