By carefully planning and executing team meetings, and using more efficient collaboration techniques besides meetings. Stop now and look at your own calendar and your team's calendars if you have access. For each meeting, ask, why are we meeting? What's the goal of the meeting? Then write how current meetings are achieving goals or falling short. When are we meeting? To build on the why statements you just wrote. And if a meeting's goal is to share information and build connection such as a larger team meeting, consider a monthly or quarterly schedule.
