How to level up in security auditing
- Now that you've landed your first role in security auditing, it's time to grow in your career. You learned your first framework, and are successfully helping clients secure their organizations. So where do you go from here? There are two main factors that will help you grow. The first is learning multiple security frameworks. You may have learned one or two to land that first role as a security auditor, but to gain traction as a great security auditor, you'll have to learn multiple frameworks at least at a high level. A security firm that has hundreds to thousands of clients have different auditing needs. One client may only be held to the PCI framework, while other companies are held to multiple frameworks.
