Test and iterate

Test and iterate

- [Instructor] You need to test your idea to see if it solves a problem well. Sometimes, a paper prototype is enough. Other times, you need a fully functioning system. The more work involved in a test, the more people will look to you for the stepping stones that give it enough validation to bring it to the next level. Speaking of iteration, there are photos from the musical "Hamilton" of the cast with scripts in hand as they perform on stage. Why? Because they iterated day after day to the point where they needed those scripts to know tonight's lyrics. Go back and look at the problems you listed in chapter three. Are you solving them? Are there downsides to your solution that you need to acknowledge? Be clear in your own mind about what you've really achieved. And if your test shows you haven't achieved enough, is there time for another iteration?
