- [Announcer] We use a lot of different services and applications that require passwords, so it's no surprise that many of us find it challenging to remember a unique password for every account we have. Using the same password everywhere is tempting, but it is a significant security risk. If one of those many services is compromised, all of your accounts are then at risk. This predicament has led to the rise of an important tool In the cybersecurity toolkit, the password manager. Password managers are software solutions designed to store, manage, and retrieve passwords and other sensitive credentials in a secure vault, ideally protected by strong multi-factor authentication. These password managers have many benefits. First, they promote the use of strong, complex passwords. Because you don't have to recall each password individually, there's no incentive to resort to simple, easily guessed passwords.
