- [Instructor] Now that we have our SIP integration set up between Cisco Unity Connection and our Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster, we want to set up mailboxes for our users, specifically HQ Phone 1 and HQ Phone 2. Before we set up the users, however, we might want to configure a user template, which is a collection of settings that can be applied to these users that we're setting up. That way, we don't have to go into the users later and manually configure all of those settings. We might also want to set up an authentication rule, which can be used to dictate a user's password policy. By a default, Cisco Unity Connection does have a fairly strict password policy, and for a lab environment, I like to loosen up that policy just a bit. Just for lab environment though.
