- Many of the tools you use in Canva work the same, no matter what type of design you're making. But in the videos in this chapter, we will look at several of the most common types of designs and identify the special features and tools you can use for each one. In this video, I'll start by talking about a graphic or a logo. On the main page in Canva, I'll click the button to make a new design. And when I talk about graphics or logos, I'm talking about designs where the finished project is a static picture with no moving or animated elements. This is not an official category. Instead, when I look at things like social media posts for Instagram, or Facebook or something like a basic logo, these are the types of designs that I'm thinking about.
