- [Instructor] Before you start this course, here's what you should know. You should know the basics of AutoCAD, and I can suggest that you maybe take the Learning AutoCAD course in the library. It also might be worth you taking the AutoCAD Essential Training course for any version in the library, too. That gives you the basic fundamentals of AutoCAD, because I will be talking about methodologies and terminology in AutoCAD that you might not understand otherwise. You do need a good working knowledge of AutoCAD commands and methodologies. Hence the courses there that I've mentioned in the library. And also, a good working knowledge of general drafting is essential, including 2D and 3D drafting. And this course is ideal for all intermediate and advanced AutoCAD users.
