Setting up the right layers on the title block
- We're staying in our commercial title Block.dwg file. And as you can see, lift it, zoomed in to where we were at the end of the last video. What we're going to think about in this particular video is the layers that we might set up to use in our commercial title block. Now the whole idea of this particular chapter is to give you an idea of that workflow, that process, and how you add some attributes to your DWG file to make this entire title block into an AutoCAD block. So attributes themselves would need to be on their own separate layer. Ideally, you don't want them on the text layer. You want them to have their own separate attributes layer. So what we're going to do, behind tab on the ribbon, or go to layer properties in the last panel.
