Using shared resources on a project

- [Instructor] When people on your project team also work on other projects, it's important to know how much and when people work on all their project assignments. Let's look at how you connect a project file to a resource pool file so you can assign those shared resources and seed their total workloads. So here I have a project file that's part of a bigger project. If I look at the resource sheet you can see there are no resources in this project file. That's because the project shares resources with other projects and we want to use the resource pool. So to do that, we're going to go to the resource tab, click resource pool, and then click share resources. In the share resources dialogue box the use own resources option is selected, but we already saw that there are no resources. So we're going to select the second option to use the resource pool.
