Motion paths overview
- [Educator] Motion paths are a truly unique and powerful feature for animators that allows you to take any frame-by-frame animation and make it move throughout the document by drawing a path. To demonstrate, we have our bird that is flapping its wings. That is a simple frame-by-frame animation. But I want the bird to fly from the right side of the screen, over to the left. If I tap on path, right here, I can literally just draw a path and then the bird will start to follow that path. I can even draw a second path here. And a third. You can draw as many as you want and your frame-by-frame animation will follow those paths. Now, layer properties from motion pads are something I'll discuss in the next chapter. But I do want to point out this option here for frames. This controls the total number of frames that are required for the animation to move from the beginning of the path to the end.
