Envelope deformers
- [Instructor] The new edit deformer can deform a vector or bitmap based warped object around its edges using familiar bezier handles. Let's go ahead and access the asset warp tool here and have a look at the tool settings. Notice that we can enable the envelope deformer by default if we wish. In addition, if we select an object that is already a warped object instance. Within the object properties, in the warp options, we can enable the envelope deformer here as well. There we go. We can now see the envelope that reaches around the entire object. Using any of these points, they each have bezier handles so that we can make fine adjustments to the deformer for the envelope of the entire object. The number of points is determined by the complexity and contours of the object you're manipulating. Additionally, this can be used with or without a rig.
