The presentation dimension of your writing

- Now we've seen that you can see your writing through the lens of dimensions or layers, which is great for editing in particular. And we've already looked at three of those dimensions, the content dimension, the structure dimension, and the style dimension. Now, once you've fixed up content, structure, style, there's one last dimension to pay attention to in order to really bring it up to the highest level, and that's what I call the presentation dimension. Now, this really is the stuff that copy editors, subeditors, proof readers in newspapers or publishing companies will typically look very closely at. I'm talking about things including grammar mistakes, spelling mistakes, typos, that sort of thing, as well as misalignments and inconsistencies in things like headings, fonts, and formatting.
