Desert View Academy is seeking an Middle School Principal (6-8) located in Yuma, AZ

for 2024-25 School Year

Middle School (6-8)

Job Summary:

At Desert View Academy, the School Leader role goes beyond traditional principal responsibilities. As a culture leader, the Principal actively nurtures the welfare of teachers, students, parents, and staff on both personal and professional levels. The School Leader casts the vision and propels the school forward in educating students with knowledge, empowering students with character, and equipping students for life. Additionally, the Leader provides instructional, academic, and leadership support and development to all of our DVA family (instructional teams, students, parents, and staff. Culture Leader, Teacher relations, Student relations, Staff relations, Parent relations, Community relations, Instructional leadership, and support)

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree
• Prior experience as an Middle School Principal or Vice Principal is required
• Master’s Degree in Education and experiences in the field preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Resident
• Must be able to obtain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

The participating entities can offer different levels of group life insurance benefits. Desert View Schools is pleased to be able to offer the following benefits to its full time staff. We offer two types of medical coverages; EPO and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that can be coupled with a Health Savings Account (HSA) as long as IRS guidelines are followed, Dental, Vision, Life, Additional Life, Short Term Disability.

Salary Range:

$94,192-$110.000
