At Cocoon House we partner with young people, families, and communities in Snohomish County to break the cycle of homelessness through outreach, housing, and prevention. The Youth Navigator, internally known as the Education & Behavioral Health Navigator, will work with youth and young adults experiencing homelessness, with a focus on youth under the age of 18, to navigate systems, coordinate service delivery, and otherwise support the young person throughout their journey to permanent housing stability. The Education & Behavioral Health Navigator will also work closely with and act as point of contact for schools and behavioral health providers in Snohomish County, building the majority of their caseload with referrals from those entities. The Youth Navigator will conduct outreach in various locations and with relevant community partners to build a caseload of about 20-30 young people currently experiencing homelessness or at high risk to experience homelessness.
Cocoon House is committed to continually growing in our equity, diversity, and inclusion journey, and candidates with lived experience or who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ are strongly encouraged to apply! We will also provide reasonable accommodation to qualified persons with disabilities upon request.
